Legal status
Sprinkling Act is not a law firm, not a Notified Body, not a certification body, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the European Commission, the European Parliament, or any national supervisory authority. It operates as an independent pre-conformity advisory firm.
Methodology
The Sprinkling Act assessment methodology is publicly versioned and documented. Each assessment is mapped article by article to Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, with explicit references to MDCG 2025-6 / AIB 2025-1 where medical-device interplay applies.

Each Sprinkling Act published report is cryptographically timestamped via OpenTimestamps, providing an independent proof anchored on the Bitcoin blockchain. Anyone can verify a report’s integrity and date without contacting Sprinkling Act.
- Download the original report PDF from Zenodo (DOI link in the methodology page or report itself).
- Download the matching .ots proof from the public mirror.
- Install the OpenTimestamps client: pip3 install opentimestamps-client
- Run: ots verify <report>.pdf.ots — the client will return the Bitcoin block number and date attesting the file’s existence.
The .ots proofs are also co-located alongside the PDFs on Zenodo (concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19671328) for direct verification.

Sprinkling Act will cooperate with any legitimate inquiry from an EU or national authority. Requests should be sent to contact@sprinklingact.com with the requesting authority and a contact officer. We aim to respond within 5 business days. For urgent matters tied to ongoing investigations, please indicate “Urgent — investigation” in subject.
